Attorneys filing subsequent documents in criminal cases in the Metropolitan Court will be required to complete electronic fields specifying the document type that most-closely matches the title of the pleading. Please find a list of the Filing Codes used in the Metropolitan Court. If court staff determine that a different code fits better than the one selected, court staff will edit and advise for future filings.
Attorneys are required to add a note if the case is scheduled for a hearing the same or next day as previously required.
Attorneys will receive a confirmation email when the filing is accepted in File & Serve, and attorneys are required to send the proposed Order directly to the Judge’s TCAA by email. For questions regarding the status of electronic filings, please contact the court’s Customer Service Division at (505) 841-8151.
Attorneys are asked to please leave the upper right hand corner of pleadings blank to accommodate the electronic Filed-In stamp.
